By our count, William Elliott Whitmore’s last Tampa Bay appearance was a 2012 solo gig at the old New World Brewery.

The dry spell is over for fans of the gravel-throated American songwriter, however, thanks to an upcoming fall concert from the 41-year-old who made his late-night TV debut last year on Last Call with Carson Daly.

Over the summer, Little Village Magazine said that Whitmore was “preparing for the release of his second Hallways of Always album,” and making "plans to record his 10th solo album, titled I’m With You,” in September.

Tickets to see the Iowan play Crowbar on November 14 go on sale Friday, October 11 at 10 a.m. EDT via etix.com.
