From Nov. 11-13, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) will take over Tinker Field, bringing to Florida some of the biggest artists and DJs from all around the world, including Svdden Death, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Alison Wonderland, Slander, DJ Snake and more.
Four stages with different representations of technology and nature will be the hub for ravers to let themselves lose all day—kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN and stereoBLOOM.
Set times and locations for each artist can be found via @edc_orlando on Instagram.
Besides music, the festival features carnival rides to act as an adult playground with full-size thrills.
According to Insomniac, the organizing company for EDC, what started as a warehouse party in Los Angeles in 1997, has now become a nation-wide phenomenon that brings together a community of peace, love, unity and respect (PLUR).
“EDC is a unique multi-day festival pushing the boundaries of imagination, and setting standards in the live entertainment industry. By incorporating carnival themes and attractions, cutting-edge stage production, world-class talent, and innovative art and technology, EDC is more than an electronic music festival – it is an unparalleled multi-sensory experience unlike any other,” Insomniac’s website said.
First time EDC participant Mike Schultz said he is most excited to experience this festival with his friends.
“I love the music but more importantly, the environment of festivals like this one. EDC is a place where you can be whoever you want to be, without judgment. I am happiest and feel most validated when I am raving with my friends,” Schultz said.
Schultz also said that EDC is like no other festival because it really puts an emphasis on creating a banging lineup. He is most excited to see James Hype, Andrew Rayel and Kaskade.
Another raver is Jay Rodriguez, who will be attending EDC for the third time.
“[EDC] is a way to decompress from the stress of real life,” Rodriguez said.
He also said that what makes this festival unique is that it is a great way to connect with people from all around the world and “just enjoy life.”
Rodriguez is most excited for Timmy trumpet, James Hype and Cloonee.
