Here's how to see Flo Rida or Fitz and the Tantrums when Tampa hosts the NHL All-Star Game
Flo Rida and Kid Rock have already been announced for in-arena performances at Amalie on Saturday and Sunday, but Fitz and the Tantrums is also set to play a free-to-attend fan fest concert at Curtis Hixon Park just a few blocks away on Friday, January 26.
Also mentioned in the aforementioned TV spot was a set by Moon Taxi on Friday, January 26.
CL has reached out to the NHL and Moon Taxi reps to confirm, but if it's true, then it would be the band's second appearance at the park after playing a big part of the Saturday lineup at the 2017 Gasparilla Music Festival last March. (UPDATE: Moon Taxi reps have confirmed the booking to CL. The NHL, in a separate email to CL, also confirmed the booking, adding that an official press release should be out this afternoon).
ONLY GOD KNOWS WHY
Uh, Kid Rock is headlining Tampa's NHL All-Star Game concert
An appearance from Moon Taxi would make sense. The band doesn't have a show booked until February and is riding high on a surprise hit, "Two High," from a brand new album Let The Record Play (released today via RCA).
Check out "Two High" below, and stay tuned for a confirmation. Watch the broadcast featuring the Moon Taxi tease via Twitter.
