Earlier this month, CL premiered a new song from Tampa post-punk outfit Career. "Scrapping Metal For Profit" was a stripped-down, quiet meditation on desperation in hard times.

Ahead of their September 17 show with Tampa punks DRUG, Career have now shared a 16-minute release, "Pattern Finders / Vermicomposting" where the band completely flexes the talent that's made them a must-see act.

Drummer Leo Suarez — who leaves for a tour with Merchandise next week — is a man possessed on the effort while Matt Ostraco and Sulyn Hago go head-to-head with ominous bass lines and blinding guitar wash that pulls back and forth between frontman Ryan Fouche's always angry, almost spoken word delivery.
