Iska Dhaaf w/Someday River Last month, bi-coastal indie-pop duo Iska Dhaaf played a rowdy set to open the mainstage at Seattle’s massive Bumbershoot Festival. Tonight, their fall tour takes them to the hyper-intimate quarters of Seminole Heights record shop Microgroove where the deep bass and propulsive rhythm on songs like “Invisible Cities” from their new album The Wanting Creature just might shake some vinyl off the wall. Eisley w/Merriment/Brother Cephus Eisley look a little different these days, and that might not be a bad thing. After the departure of two founding members, guitarist and singer Sherri DuPree-Bemis went ahead and stepped front and center.
