✔️ Diners w/Karen Meat/Charles Irwin/Laundromat There’s a band called A R I Z O N A playing a sold-out show at Tampa’s Amalie Arena on Wednesday night, but here’s a Hump Day chance to see a band that’s actually from Arizona (Diners, a dream-pop band fronted by Tyler Broderick, who enlists a rotating cast of musicians to help bring hazy jams like “fifteen on a skateboard” to life) play a hyper-intimate set at a Tampa bookstore. Karen Meat — a Des Moines duo touring in support of its 2018 masterpiece emo-pop album, You’re An Ugly Person — opens the show alongside Bay area locals Laundromat and Charles Irwin. You won’t have to hit StubHub for a ticket, but donations for touring bands are being collected. (Mojo Books & Records, Tampa) INFO

✔️ Panic! At The Disco w/A R I Z O N A/Hayley Kiyoko We should’ve known that this show would sell out back in November when more than 10,000 fans packed into Amalie Arena to see Fall Out Boy started to sing along cheerfully when the video for Panic! At the Disco’s “Death Of A Bachelor” came on the monitors. We suppose you’ll have to wait for the bigger arena tour (next largest venue is MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre) if you want to see Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie supporting his new album, Pray for the Wicked. Read our interview with David Labuguen (keyboardist for opening band, A R I Z O N A) on here.
