Last week, in collaboration with Rock Brothers Brewing, we premiered The Attic Sessions, a series shot by Pristine Audio and Video Studio that finds local artists performing in various spots around the future home of Rock Brothers' brewery, tasting room and live music venue, The Attic.
The second of these stripped-back single-song sets features Mountain Holler, aka Mark Etherington, strumming acoustic guitar and piping through "Open New Faiths," his distinctively ethereal vocal quality a perfect complement to the dusty yet dignified pre-construction site. Mountain Holler hosts an Open Mic at The Blueberry Patch in Gulfport on Thurs., July 7, 8 to 11 p.m., and then appears in a Songwriter Showcase with Shawn Kyle and the first Attic Sessions performer, J.T. Brown, on Fri., July 15, 8 p.m. to midnight, at Hideaway Cafe & Recording Studio, St. Petersburg.
