Tampa Bay’s live music weekend is wearing extra deodorant these days thanks to rising temperatures, and it’s also getting warmed up for a headbanging record release from Heaven’s Gate on Friday night.

There’s a whole lot more homegrown talent doing big things this weekend, from the Beat Marauders showcase in Ybor City, to Florida Orchestra’s free concert, and more.
