Thereโ€™s not a specific reason for the breakup of Tampa hardcore quintet Plague Spitter, but frontman Eliot Mayo (pictured) has nothing but gratitude for the year-and-a-half experience.

In a farewell message, he admitted how he never would have guessed that heโ€™d get to perform with Weekend Nachos, record an EP heโ€™s proud of, and make as many friends as he has.

On the other hand, all five of the guys Spit in other bands, and some of them are even talking about forming something new. Until that day comes, the bandโ€™s last show is gonna be stackedโ€”thanks to an all-star lineup of Bay area metal bands like Horsewhip, Meatwound, Thrull, Hysteresis and Dead Mirrorsโ€”with most profits going to the Tampa Bay Abortion Fund.

Tickets to see Plague Spitter play Deviant Libation in Tampa on Friday, Dec. 27 are $15 at the door.
