There arenโ€™t many intimate venues in Tampa Bay that horror-punk band Black Valley Moon hasnโ€™t played, and this weekend it plays a free show at Hooch and Hive in Tampa.

Perhaps its most prominent show of the late has been a segment during a tribute concert to Lakeland drummer Walt Rossman, who died of pancreatic cancer in 2020.

This year, guitarist Sam Williams (pictured), drummer Dave Kamrath, bassist Don Butler and frontan Ray Vega are preparing to release Songs From The Black Valley. Alt-country-punk group Ragas and the Moonshiners and electronica duo Tiger 54 play support at this free gig going down at Hooch and Hive, located at 1001 W Cass St. in Tampa at 8 p.m.
