The Path Of Increased Indifference's debut full length, Schrodinger's Fact, is a punishing monolith of metal and noise-rock that’s been beating us up since it was released in January. And the eight-track album has proven itself much too dense, heavy and memorable to not revisit as the Tampa band readies itself for a Saturday show at Lucky You Tattoo in St. Petersburg.
Full of memorable riffs and passages that embed themselves into your head for days after the initial listen, the songs on Schrodinger's Fact hit as hard as slabs of concrete falling through the sky. Picture Motörhead’s late frontman Lemmy Kilmister at his most pissed off and fronting an early lineup of The Melvins — that’s how massive this band's debut sounds. And despite the consistent bludgeoning force of the band, Path still has a knack for pushing out some of the catchier metals that the Bay area hard-rock scene has released in 2019.
Look for the trio — fronted by Deviant Libation founder Tim Ogden — to be mentioned among many circles of heavy music fans in the local area and beyond.
