Three years later, a Dolenz-free version of the supergroup is slowly announcing plans to hit the road with a salute to 1965’s Rubber Soul and 1966’s Revolver, and the band stops at Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall on Wednesday, March 16. Taking Dolenz’ place will be Rascal Flatts’ Jay DeMarcus, and Moody Blues co-founder Denny Laine. Yep, the same one who would later co-found Paul McCartney and Wings.
Tickets to see It Was 50 Years Ago Today: A Tribute To The Beatles go on sale this Friday, and start at $43.75.
