U.K. jazz import Simon Lasky—who’s been compared to Pat Metheny and released music for Britain’s 33Jazz imprint—has been hard at work on a new album, and he comes out of the studio to lead an eight-piece band during a night of original compositions and arrangements that we’ll soon hopefully be able to own on record.

Tickets to see Simon Lasky play the Side Door Cabaret at Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg on Sunday, Sept. 24 are still available and start at $25.
