Tampa Bay Abortion Fund's pockets got a little deeper last night, thanks in part to a handful of local bands who took the stage for a Ybor City benefit concert.

The show featured local bands including The Jackettes which all volunteered their time in support of the event.

Spread across Crowbar were a variety of vendors who also gave proceeds to the fundraiser, as well as an art raffle displaying a variety of donated art pieces.

By 9:30 p.m., as people flowed in and out of the room, more than $2,000 had already been collected for the fund, which supports reproductive healthcare from doctor's appointments to assistance with travel.

"I believe that healthcare is a human right and with that comes abortion" Mikaela Aradi, one of the event organizers told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay.

If you couldn't make the show, you can still donate money or your time to Tampa Bay Abortion Fund.
