Tampa Clean City Day will take place on March 12, 2011. Volunteers are needed to help clean up designated areas of the city from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. that day. There will be a celebration with food, live entertainment and activities afterward at Raymond James Stadium from 12:30 – 3 p.m.
According to the City of Tampa website:
The Clean City Division mission is to provide a comprehensive, landscape and maintenance system to the interstate, gateways and medians in an effort to reduce litter, graffiti and illegal dumping through education and enforcement, thus create a city environment that is aesthetically pleasing.
Together, we will make the City of Tampa a better place to Live, Work, Recreate and Visit.
