We’ve followed the hush-hush meanderings of Chef Domenica ever since her legal contretemps with Three Birds prevented her from taking over any nearby kitchens, thanks to a no-compete clause. Legal action is still pending, so Chef can’t technically work anywhere for a while, but as she moves underground from place to place she leaves a faint trail of revamped menus (look for truffle oil) in her wake. Wherever she goes, her supporters follow her. Her food, at its best, is just that good.
