Fill up your bike tires — it’s time to take the scenic, and environmentally conscious, ride around downtown Tampa.
Downtown’s Bike to Work Ride & Rally will have meetups all around the downtown area to travel in packs to head to a rally at Lykes Gaslight Square Park to take part in exhibitors, coffee and healthy bites. Meetups begin at 7 a.m. and the rally wraps up at 9 a.m.
Newly elected mayor Jane Castor will also be along; join in on the fun. There are eight different neighborhood meetup locations including Seminole Heights, Hyde Park Village and Davis Island.
This is a free event, open to the public. Make sure to bring, or rent your own bike.
