Everything seems hunky-dory over at the Jannus Landing website shows are still booked and no notices of any cancellations have actually been posted. But things aren't looking so great for the beloved venue, which has seen several shows pull out since the man who runs it, John C. "Jack" Bodziak, had a run-in with the law due to alleged tax evasion. Bodziak recently confirmed with the St. Pete Times that some more shows still listed on the calendar have, indeed, been moved.
Here's how it stands right now:
Motörhead (pictured) with Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy (Sept. 15), Robin Trower (Oct. 16), and the All Time Low, We the Kings and Hey Monday (Oct. 26) are all set to move to The Ritz Ybor. Johnny Winter has moved his Oct. 8 show to State Theatre. There's no word yet on the Nov. 28 Skinny Puppy show, which mysteriously disappeared from the Jannus calendar over the past few days and is still listed on their site as taking place at Jannus.
Motorhead and Robin Trower ticketholders should exchange their tickets via Ticketmaster; see RitzYbor.com for details. Johnny Winter tickets can also be exchanged through Ticketmaster, or, if purchased through Daddy Kool records, can be exchanged there.
