The major news today is reaction to the arrest and announced indictment of former Florida Republican chairman Jim Greer, charged with six counts of alleged theft and fraud.  Our thoughts are on why one candidate whose mission was to clean up the mess fared so poorly this year;

As folks in the Panhandle prepare for the oil gusher to approach their shores possibly within days, Florida's Whirling Dervish of a Senator, Bill Nelson, is again calling on the military to take over the situation with the spill, though they say they really wouldn't be able to add much;
