For the 33rd year in a row, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay asks the community to nominate their favorite movers and shakers for our annual Best of the Bay awards—and 2023’s nominations are open from now until the end of the month.
Whether it’s your favorite barista, Italian restaurant, car mechanic or public park, Creative Loafing Tampa Bay offers various categories—including arts, beauty and wellness, drink, entertainment, food, goods, people, places and services—to make sure we don’t miss any of the folks that help Tampa Bay thrive.
Nominations can be made via vote.cltampa.com from now until Friday, June 30 at 11:59 p.m.
One nomination per category is allowed, and only the top 10 nominees in each category will move on to BOTB’s voting stage.

While nominations close at the end of this month, folks can start voting on Best of the Bay’s various categories throughout August, in preparation for September’s massive awards ceremony and party.
The 2023 Best of the Bay celebration and awards ceremony—the longest-running “best of” in the Bay area—returns to the Event Center at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Wednesday, Sept. 27, where nominees, winners and other guests will get a first look at Creative Loafing’s annual Best of the Bay-themed issue.
