Ramblin' Rose moves in with Star Booty Salon

Five months after opening in the Crislip Arcade and Williams — whose mother previously owned Dog Street vintage boutique in Crislip Arcade where Cozette's Boutique is today — was already a serious presence in the 'Burg, moving into a bigger space at 683 Central Ave.

There she and Crockett opened the St. Pete Indie Market, an impromptu, organized gathering of artists and craftsmen from the community.

"We'll be moving [to Star Booty] over the next month," Williams said. "We are having huge sales to get rid of everything, and getting new inventory for the new space."

Williams said the space at 683 Central was too big and had "become more of a stresser and was holding us back from things we wanted to do."

Williams said she and Crockett can now focus on a select inventory at the Star Booty space and build up their online store

Williams said they're also bringing a selection of rock and roll vintage t-shirts to Star Booty. Plus, the indie markets are expanding.

"We will be doing a lot more indie markets, especially pop-up markets in other places," Williams said. "The markets are growing and everyone wants us to do a pop-up market at their place."

Starting Feb. 1, Ramblin' Rose and Star Booty will be open in the same spot that Reilly has owned for more than 15 years.

"The front retail space will be our magical vintage and oddities wonderland with select authentic clothing, witchy jewelry, and other unique picks," Williams said.
