Sh*t happened 11/6/15: Gyrocopter guy cops a plea, family crimes

Welcome to Friday! It's November, so don't forget to wear your scarf when you leave the house today — that way, someone will have something to sop you up with after you melt in the record-breaking temperatures.

Hey, remember that postal worker from Ruskin who landed a gyrocopter on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol back in April? Yeah, he's gonna plead guilty to the relatively minor felony of piloting a gyrocopter without a license, rather than find out whether or not Homeland Security really does have secret torture gulags here in the States. (Also, disappointing to find out a gyrocopter isn't a drone that brings you Greek food on demand.)

An alleged armed robber allegedly brought his 18-month-old daughter along on an alleged convenience store heist. See — becoming a new parent doesn't necessarily mean you have to give up all of your favorite hobbies...

And finally, after a bit of a respite during which stoners could actually satisfy their craving for organic, artisanal, locally handcrafted weed, this year's all-out assault on Bay area grow houses continues — Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputies busted another one, netting approximately $100k worth of some budding young entrepreneur's inventory. BUDDING!
