Remember when that Bay area high school had a problem with a social media channel dedicated to sharing videos of fights? Did you really think that was gonna turn out to be the only one? Can you see where I'm going with this? How many more of these do you think we can expect to be "discovered" by parents and/or authority figures in the coming weeks? All? Let's assume all.
A Lakeland parent thinks there could be potentially serious lice problem in Polk County schools, due to the middle and high schools' policy of basically doing nothing to prevent the spread of lice — they don't do checks after elementary school, and she says her kid contracted lice three times without anything being done about it. Three times? That's a real head-scratcher.
Disgraced philanderer and insanely gifted golfer Tiger Woods is apparently still a big draw for fans, as his appearance this year's Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor has a lot of folks excited. Organizers are expecting a record-breaking crowd this week, more than partly due to the attendance of Woods (and Jordan Spieth). It's probably more fun to watch crazy-wealthy dudes try to hit a consistent fade approach from 180 yards out if you actually have a favorite.
And finally, McDonald's announced yesterday that it's transitioning from frozen gross, salty Quarter Pounder beef patties to fresh gross, salty Quarter Pounder beef patties. They'll reportedly spend more than $60 million on the project — man, getting owned by Wendy's in that Super Bowl commercial really must've stung.
