Eight Tampa Bay-based Southern Baptist Church pastors and clergymen were named among alleged sexual abusers in an extensive list compiled by Guidepost Solutions.

Over 50 of the alleged incidents occurred in Florida, according to Bradenton Herald.

"This list is being made public for the first time as an initial, but important, step towards addressing the scourge of sexual abuse and implementing reform in the Convention," the SBC wrote on its website.

The list of Tampa Bay pastors includes:
  • Robert Harvey Alexander, First Baptist Church of Tampa, Tampa
  • Dan Earl Allmond, Tampa Baptist Church, Tampa
  • Scott Dwayne Wright, Crossing Church, Tampa
  • Randy Lee Morrow, Countryside Baptist Church, Clearwater
  • Matthew Christopher Porter, Bethel Baptist Church, Bradenton
  • Kenneth Baxley, Central Baptist Community Ministries, Lakeland
  • Brian Siegfried Brijabag, First Baptist Church of Brooksville, Brooksville
  • William Allen Richardson II, First Baptist Church of Mango, Seffner
Guidepost Solutions, a firm that specializes in domestic and international investigations, was hired by leaders of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) last year as part of an external investigation, according to NBC News.

The list names pastors, clergymen and church officials with either alleged and convicted sexual abuse cases and is mostly complied of news articles ranging from 2007 to 2022.
