1010 N. MacInnes Place, Tampa, 813-222-1000, tbpac.org

Now 21 years old, TBPAC is one of Tampa Bay's civic jewels, an arts hub with five distinct theaters, three of which have been used regularly for concerts. The largest space, Carol Morsani Hall, has hosted a roll call of events, from highbrow to rock 'n' roll. Smaller rooms Ferguson Hall and the Jaeb Theater have done singer/songwriters, jazz, comedy and spoken word. TBPAC is so well-maintained that the venue looks much as it did when it opened. The sound in each of the theaters is impeccable.

Memories Bryan Ferry looking dapper and crooning in post-Roxy Music mode, circa mid-'90s • Piano wizard Marcus Roberts with a jazz trio in the Ferguson • The Turtle Island String Quartet's two dazzling sets of John Coltrane material this year

Capacity: Morsani Hall, 2,160; Ferguson Hall, 1,042; Jaeb Theater, 268

Grub: Banquet facilities

Booze: Full liquor

Next big show: Mary Gauthier, Jaeb Theater, Nov. 17
