All you Miss Saigons and the Jersey Boys are going to have to wait, because the health of the community is taking its turn in the spotlight amid coronavirus concerns.
On Friday morning, The Straz Center for the Performing Arts announced the suspension of all events through April 19. That includes the aforementioned musicals and Straz’s signature “Taste” event set for April 4 and the Mandy Moore concert on April 9.
You should hold on to your tickets though. According to the press release, the Center is working to reschedule as many things as possible, and the ticket sales office will be in contact with patrons soon. The Straz Center did add, however, that it is “not responsible for the refund practices in place by secondary ticket providers.”
