The Gaily News: Lesbians more likely to marry than gay men, California to teach LGBT history in school

California State Assembly has passed a bill that was introduced in April that will require standard curriculum to include gay and lesbian contributions to U.S. history. Gov. Jerry Brown has about two weeks to either sign the bill into law or veto it.


A 74-year-old gay rights activist was arrested and charged with assault after kissing an anti-gay protestor on the cheek at a Pride event in North Carolina.

Now there's proof that there's truth to the old lesbian U-Haul jokes. Data compiled by the New York Post shows that lesbians are more likely to marry than gay men, with same-sex female couples walking down the aisle at a 3 to 2 ratio compared to gay men.
