It has literally been weeks since we've seen Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump yell in person. We jonesin'.

Luckily for you and me and every single human residing along the coveted I-4 corridor, that Holy Grail of presidential politics (and not the one that turns you into a skeleton if you drink out of it, either), that larger-than-life ray of patriotic sunshine will stop by the Florida State Fairgrounds on the outskirts of Tampa Wednesday afternoon for an event scheduled to start at 1 p.m.

The event marks the first rally he's held in the Tampa Bay area since he won his party's nomination at that romp of a national convention in July (we were there!).

It's also the first event he's had here since last week's campaign staff… shakeup? Nah. Tectonic shift? No…  Large, ungainly ship deck chair rearrangement? OK.

…And the first since he said that thing about why black people should vote for him.

Those who want to attend — as a supporter inside or protester outside (or inside before you get dragged out), we won't judge — ought to get there early.

The man draws thousands and thousands to all of his rallies, despite what Trump says the media says. The line will likely form early… and not that we have to tell you this, but it's summer in Florida, so bring about a gallon of water, an umbrella, all that stuff.

Sign up for the event here.
