A contemporary home designed an architect who helped design quite a few Bern's Steak House projects around town is now on the market in South Tampa.
Located at 2701 Chambray Ln., the Ballast Point home was completed in 1987 and was built for local LGBTQ activists Ed Lally and Philip Dinkins by local architect Richard Zingale of Urban Studio Architects.
Undoubtedly, Zingale has helped shape the look of modern day Tampa, and his work can be found all over, including the Grand Central condo building in Channelside, the Madison at Soho apartment building, Edison: Food + Drink Lab, the old Mia's restaurant, and multiple Evos restaurants.
But Zingale is probably best known for his Bern's Steak House-related projects, like Sidebern's (now Haven), The Epicurean Hotel, and most recently, the Bern's Steak House interior redesign.
Zingdale also built quite a few residential homes in the South Tampa area.
This particular one comes with 2,314-square-feet of living space, as well as three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It also features 24-foot high ceilings, marble floors, Calcite countertops, a floating steel staircase, a lap pool, five patios, an oversized two-car garage, and more.
The home is currently asking $1.35 million, and the listing agent is Ilona Davidovich of Chic Properties.
