The St. Pete Pier is giving locals and visitors another chance to roll on over next month.
After making its debut last year, St Petersburg’s Rockin Roller Rink returns just in time for spring break, on Friday, March 8. Operating times vary, but the rink will be onsite through April 14.
A grand opening party is happening Friday, March 10 from 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
The rink will be located near the pier playground and run seven days a week, weather-permitting. A press release says the 5,000 square-foot outdoor skating rink will host live DJs on the weekends. Every other day of the week is a themed music night, including themes like 90s Party, Barbie Night, and Latin Night. Taylor Swift Day is set for March 12 while Beyonce, Usher and boy bands all get their own nights throughout the month.
A $17 ticket includes a pair of skates and 75 minutes in the rink. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Reservations are recommended, and hippies and Birkenstock boys should know that you must bring your own socks.
Tickets for the Rocking Roller Rink, at St. Pete Pier from March 8-April 14, are $17.
