Photos: People were dancing and painting in the streets during Tampa Arts Alliance’s Monday pop-up

It was like an art explosion went off in downtown Tampa Monday morning. Music blared down Jackson Street as the Tampa City Ballet performed sections of The Nutcracker outside the Unlock Tampa Bay Visitors Center in downtown Tampa. Meanwhile, spray paint filled the air as Tampa muralists freestyled on 6-foot-by-9-foot panels, all part of a mural jam and mural calendar launch. Between performing segments of The Nutcracker, Tampa City Ballet dancers donned Hector Diaz fashions and danced across Jackson Rd. for media photographers.
