Tampa Bay residents usually head to the Florida State Fairgrounds for festivals and concerts, but next weekend, visitors can expect an intimate, spooky history tour.

“Tall Tales of Old Florida” guides lead a lantern-lit exploration through Tampa’s 19th-century living history museum, Cracker Country. While touring the historic grounds, guests will hear spooky and fun stories fostered from Florida’s unexplained oddities.

Those who wait for their tours can enjoy seasonal decorations at the shop, as well as Victorian games and snacks included with admission.

This event is not recommended for children under six years old. Gates open at 6:45 pm with tours starting every 10 minutes between 7 p.m.-9:30 p.m. for approximately one hour.

Tickets are $16 and parking is $12 for Tall Tales of Old Florida happening Saturday, Oct. 18, in Tampa.
